No sign-up
A workout app you can use without an account.
FitBoost does not ask you to create an account. There is no sign-up form, no email field and no password. You download it, answer a few questions about how you train, and the first session is ready.
Yes, FitBoost works with no account at all. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to verify, no password to remember.
Why most workout apps ask for one
An account is rarely there for your benefit. It lets an app sync your data to its servers, email you, and count you as a user it can report on. Those are the app’s needs, not yours.
The cost lands on you: a form between you and your first workout, an inbox that fills up, and your training history sitting on somebody else’s server.
What FitBoost does instead
Your training lives on your phone. The app builds your plan on the device, from what you tell it and what you complete, so there is nothing to log into.
- No sign-up form and no email address
- No password, so nothing to reset
- No newsletter you have to unsubscribe from
- Your workout history stays on your iPhone
What you give up
Being honest about the trade: with no account there is no cloud backup and no syncing to a second device. If you replace your iPhone, your history does not follow you automatically.
For most people that is a fair swap for never filling in a form. If it is not, this is the wrong app for you, and it is better that you know now.
Questions
Do I need an email address to use FitBoost?+
No. FitBoost never asks for an email address. There is no sign-up step at all.
Is my workout data sent anywhere?+
Your workouts and plan stay on your iPhone. FitBoost is not built to track you and has no account to attach your training to.
Can I use it on two devices?+
Your iPhone and your Apple Watch work together. Syncing to a second iPhone is not possible, because there is no account holding your data in the cloud.
